Rock 'n' Sake

Background: It was a group of nine people of many different races and not all of us knew each other.
If I had the option to give them a zero not a one I would. It was my FIRST time there and I was so excited until we meet our server. She didn’t take down or even remember our order properly. Then after we have all ate she explains that any party over five can only spilt the ticket three ways. Ok, no problem I’ve been to bigger places where they do that as well. HERE IS WHER WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Instead of our server splitting the bill three ways, she bring out one large bill and ask us to mark next to each item which one was ours and what card we wanted to put it on . I have been a server before and it’s not customary where you have to mark down what you ordered just to get the bill cut. Then when she couldn’t get that correct she just started taking payments: $50 on this card, $25 in cash and so on and so forth. This would have been fine if she could remember what we ordered, if we all were the best of friends and if we shared the entire meal.

When we asked to speak to the manager, I think he was under the assumption we wanted something off our bill which wasn’t the case. I really just wanted to voice my opinion on what could be done when you have a large party to make things run smoothly. The manger named CRAIG, came over and was very rude. He wouldn’t let me explain the problems we had with our server and how our bill is being divide wrong. All he would say is that it’s stated in the menu. It is stated in the smallest font possible and if you had never been there you might have missed it like we did. I don’t like being treated like the 200-300 dollars we spent as a whole wasn’t good enough. I don’t like being looked at because I’m BLACK that you can treat me any type of way. I also don’t like for people who are in management positions to believe that you can treat people any type of way.

I will never return and I will STRONGLY suggest to my family and friends that they don’t eat their either.

I love this place. the sushi is always so good! they have the best rolls and great fun service. This place does play loud music if you don’t i like that i would not recommend going here. This is great place to go before a night out! They have numerous rolls named after saints players.
