Late Night Dining
I have to add my 2 cents on this restaurant because it brought back some fond memories of clubbing era. This tiny restaurant in Hollywood opens until 3am everyday! You have to go family style at this place, almost like a tapas place. Late nights, they are known for their “kow tom”, which means rice soup/porridge and all the wonderful, flavorful dishes that go with it.
For those adventurous, you have to try the Papaya Salad with raw black crabs and lime juice—you can make this dish as spicy as you want with those tiny Thai chili. Yes, the crabs are raw but with the lime juice, they are very tasty. Another dish to have with your porridge is morning glory sauteed in soy bean sauce. You must have a fish dish to go with the bland rice soup, Salty Fish Salad.
There are many more dishes from the menu you can order from, depending on your tastes. Try this place late at night with a group of people and order a bunch of dishes to eat with your rice soup. Most of these accompanying dishes are salty, sweet or tangy or combination of these flavors. The best part is the food is cheap and authentic! yes, parking could be a pain on the weekend, but they do offer valet parking.
Dishes Tried:
Papaya Salad raw crab
Sliced papaya mixed with green bean, tomato, and lime juice with salty black crab. You can make this dish as spicy as you want with those tiny Thai chili. Yes, the crabs are raw but with the lime juice, they are very tasty. If safety is an issue, try the salad with dried shrimp instead.
Fried Morning Glory
Morning glory sauteed in soy bean sauce is something I grew up eating in Thailand. They grew in abundance and it is considered a poor-man’s staple. This dish is simple but with the sauce, it is a bit salty.
Salty Fish Salad
Salty fish, Sa-Lid or Pla-Kem, mixed with onion, chili and lime juice. If you are a saltaholic, you would love this fish salad. It’s tangy, spicy, and salty.
Salty Egg Salad
Salty Egg mixed with onions, green onion, chili and lime juice.
Fried Green Mussels
Fresh green mussels scrambled with egg, bean sprouts and green onion, served with Sriracha hot sauce. This is more of a lunch entree and is a very authentic Thai dish. Must try for seafood lovers.

I Never Knew
Let me start by saying that I love Thai food. That being said, I had not eaten at this restaurant until very recently. This restaurant is in a crowded mini mall along with three other Thai restaurants that are not nearly as good as this place. To give you an idea of how good this place is, one of the last times I ate here was with an oversized mob of foodies. I can’t think of a much more unpleasent circumstance. Despite that, the food shines through.

Yummy Thai
I love this place, both for a sit-down meal with a big group or for takeout.
Here are some of my favorites: Boat noodles with beef (delicious tasty broth; rich in flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy; I recommend having it with wide thin rice noodles); Pad ka praw (roasted duck with chili and basil; very moist and tender, medium spicy); whole fried pompano (perfect crispyness to fish while keeping moisture within; red sauce has well-rounded spiciness); green curry with chicken (curry had a mellow spiciness balanced by the sweetness of the coconut milk; delicious, although not quite as good as Jitlada’s green curry with fish balls.) Papaya salad was very good, nice and sharp flavor
One thing I would NOT recommend is the crab fried rice which uses imitation crab! Blahhhhh….
