Never disappoints!
From the beautiful imported Thai decor to the very friendly and helpful staff, Sa- Bai Thong is a lovely restaurant for authentic Thai cuisine. They offer an array of wonderful appetizers, teas and a variety of beer including of course Thai beer! Try the traditional Pad Thai dish or be adventurous with one of their delicious curry dishes. Top it all of with Crispy Banana or Sticky rice with coconut custard! If your a Thai food lover, Sa-Bai Thong is sure to please. As you can tell I like this place! (I frequent the Odana Rd. location)

If you’re a fan of rice noodles and a little spice this dish is great. The noodles are stir fried with fresh basil, chili sauce, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, cilantro, and red and green peppers. I’m not a fan of bamboo shoots and request to leave them off. I had mine with chicken, but you also have the choice of beef, pork or tofu. Shrimp too (a little extra).

Sa Bai Thong
This Madison-based franchise is excellent. Many vegetarian choices are offered. The spiciness level is variable, which is excellent in the Midwest and people hate spiciness. I myself like real Thai hot~! The pad see you and pad thai are excellent. Make sure to try thai iced tea. The coconut custard dessert is to die for. Just make sure you get it when you dine in the restaurant, it doesn’t hold well for delivery or takeout.
Dishes Tried:
Pad Thai (tofu)
Dish is flavorful and has many textures. Not too fish-saucy. I like this with the addition of a squeeze of lime juice. Wonderful.
