Healthy lunching
After a few hours of walking through the Botanic Garden, you might be ready for lunch. Located about a mile and a half from the Garden is SaladFarm. It’s more than just veggies. Their menu is heavily salad-based but they do have paninis and plates. It’s fast too so whether you need to get back to class, work, or go on another adventure, SaladFarm is good option.

CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD
Chinese Chicken Salad is made with crisp iceberg, marinated chicken breast, julienne cut carrots, shaved cabbage, roasted almonds, fresh tangerines, homemade wontons, rice noodles, and served with their house dressing. The flavors are all vibrant and crisp. The sweetness of the tangerines along with the shaved cabbage, almonds, wontons, and rice noodles give the salad a minor Asian twist. Rating: 5/5
COBB SALAD
Cobb Salad is made with crisp romaine hearts, grape tomatoes, crumbled bleu cheese, hard boiled eggs, Applewood bacon, chicken breast, hass avocado, and served with bleu cheese dressing. The salad itself is huge. The combination of flavors is great from the pungent bleu cheese, salty bacon, and creamy avocado. It would be better tossed in the dressing and avocado cubed, but it’s delicious nonetheless. Rating: 4.5/5
TUNA SALAD
Tuna Salad is made with crisp romaine hearts, julienne cut carrots, sliced mushroom, grape tomatoes, Persian cucumber, chop celery, shaved cauliflower, two scoops of tuna salad, and served with buttermilk ranch dressing. Tuna salad tastes like homemade. The salad mix gave it texture with the crunchy cucumbers, celery, and cauliflower. Rating: 5/5
