Good quick Japanese
If you’re shopping near South Coast and want a quick and cheap lunch then head to San Kai in the plaza across the street. I’ve been happy the few times I’ve been here.

Lunch Box with Sashimi
All kinds of goodies: tuna sashimi, chicken teriyaki, egg roll, a gyoza, veggie and shrimp tempura, salad, and salmon! What a deal! It’s pretty good too.

A wonderful simple sushi bar
What an amazing place to go for the basics of sushi as well as some specials that you have to be in the know to try.
Try the Volcano roll. Scallops baked in a cream sauce and served over a California roll. Or the Super California roll, served with succulent pieces of broiled eel in a sweet soy glaze.
One of the few places to serve both sea and fresh water eels.
I’ve been eating here for 18 years, and have loved every min. Ok, not the first time when the parents took me in. But about 15 min into that, than I loved it. :)

Tender bay scallops baked in a cream sauce and served over a California roll. Topped with asparagus and a sweet soy glaze

The prices were kind of expensive for the quality of sushi.
Some sushi may have MSG…. :(
Service was okay. There was one waitress a bit unkind and made me feel awkward of asking questions. Just scary.
There are many other sushi bars which would be much better than here!

Worst Restaurant in California
The Worst Restaurant in California. They rape you for money and the soup smells very bad. The food is very bad except for shrimp. they charge you 10 bucks and give you a small fish. However the my Japanese food experience is horrible. Be careful of the soft drinks you take.

Too costly for piece of Fish. and the Soda drink is charged 1.75 each time for refill.
