I’m of two minds on how to write this. On the one hand, Savannah’s serves good food. Not extraordinary, but definitely good. On the other hand, it’s not really very… well… Brasilian. Which is ostensibly what you’d be coming for. The name ‘Savannah’ gives you a hint as to what sort of food to expect- South American, sure, but in ‘South Eastern United States’ sense. I lived with a Brasilian girl in New York and was spoiled by her generous cooking- this isn’t that— it’s American comfort food.
But, like I said, the dishes are good, so that’s something. And the owner/wait staff are very cool, very friendly, and incredibly accommodating. So if you’re going in just wanting a delicious quick meal, this may be your place.
