We Really Enjoyed Sea Blue
I had dinner with my girl friend at Sea Blue Restaurant on Saturday May 29 TH. We arrived around 8 PM without a reservation but were fortunate to be seated. Although there is an outdoor seating area and a beautiful main dining room, we chose to sit at the bar on their very comfortable stools. The wine list, both by the glass and bottle, was extensive and certainly one of the best in our region. I really liked my baby spinach salad that was lightly dressed with a nice vinaigrette and was topped with chunks of blue cheese and almonds. Leslie’s romaine heart had a reggiano parmesan dressing and was equally good. Our dinners arrived on time and both well received. My piece of black grouper was perfectly grilled and rested on mashed potatoes. The other dish was lobster stuffed ravioli with a wonderfully light spring vegetable sauce. Both entries were absolutely “as good as it gets”. Perhaps we will try one of their deserts when we return. Sea Blue is a small, upscale restaurant with very nice decor and excellent food. I hope that I will be able to return soon.
