Rustic Cuisine and Motorcycle Amenities
It’s been four years since I toured the hotel at the Grand Opening but never had a chance to have dinner. I recently hosted our Meetup group of eight. Absolutely love the decor. Think Harley Davidson museum and you are just about there. For a Tuesday the place was busy. The hostess couldn’t of been more gracious. Not rushing our group as we lingered in the bar. They have a large outdoor area that is open in the summer — looks very inviting and would definitely would like to stop back for.
Dishes Tried:
scallops
The prices at this restaurant are on the high side. I had the special — scallops and they were great. Side of brussel sprouts and couscos.
I also ordered a “nosh” plate of cheese, olives, meats, and pearl onions. I think I enjoyed this more than my main meal.
Some of the group ordered lamb and said it was one of the best they had.

Great food - Uncomfortable atmosphere
The food was delicious and the restaurant and hotel is amazing. Our table was not in the main dining room but in the back of the hotel lobby. The table was under very strong, bright lights and very warm. I perspired throughout the entire meal. the staff did try and dim the lights but it didn’t help much. In all fairness, it was over 100 degrees outside. I will definitely go back, when its cooler out.
Dishes Tried:
Filet Mignon
The steak melted in my mouth. It was perfectly cooked as ordered (medium) and seasoned well. The outside was seared with beautiful grill marks and the inside was warm and pink. The chef clearly knew how to cook a filet. I think it was eight ounces which was plenty. I would definitely order this again as it was well worth the cost.
Butter Milk Fried Chicken
There are plenty of ways to make bad fried chicken and Smyth avoided them all. The chicken was moderately covered with the batter so it was not overbearing. It was then fried golden brown so that it was just crispy enough. The chicken itself was moist and tender and perfectly cooked.

Meeting with Food
Great atmosphere. Attentive wait staff although our food took forever to arrive. Able to carry on a conversation without difficulty. Good spot to have a meeting with four or five people and enjoy tasty food along the way. Parking is not an issue. Would enjoy trying the outside dining area at some point.
Dishes Tried:
Mac and cheese
About what I expected. Large serving size. About what I expected which is neither good nor bad.
