WOW Great Meals,,STEAKS,POLISH AND HUNGARIAN at it's Best
One of the best Downriver 50 plus years
You want Hungarian and Polish food downriver with a cozy atmosphere and a baby grand piano for that special dinner well here’s a classic restaurant serving great food since 1956 and you say what never heard of it, well now you just gotta try them. Only open for lunch on Friday at 11am and 3 or 4pm the other 6 days. The Chicken Paprikash must try with 1/2 a chicken that falls of the bone with a Hungarian paprika on top over a bed Paprikas in a chicken stock and sour cream mix YUMMY. The Polish combo with kraut with bacon and Pierogies smothered in grilled onions along with a stuffed cabbage and Kielbasa will satisfy all. The New York strip a full pound-er with baked tater has to the of deals on any restaurant at only $ 8.95 and it’s dam good and juicy if you don’t order it well done. The outstanding service with any empty plates taken away like now and drinks filled when half full are great. The fell of this place is great for the family, lunch crowd on Friday and I believe for a romantic dinner with all the small pleasant touches they offer. They have the real deal Hungarian Goulash which is a stew type and served with dumplings, Also has a great selection at the bar of beers and wines along with your old time favorite mixed drinks. You just know many love them to be still in business for going on 54 years
