New Version
The place has been reinvented. It is no longer a buffet and many of the old favorites are gone. The vegetables were ok but nothing I couldn’t get at Safeway. The dressing for the salad was not great and the selection was thin. When we entered a member of the “wait staff” gave us a tour to explain the new method of operation. I prefer
an eatery that doesn’t require a tour guide or a 15 minute explanation of how the new ordering process works. Also there was an automatic 7.5 percent service fee for the “wait staff”, despite the fact they did not wait on anyone. This is not the Sweet Tomatoes it was.
