Sovana Bistro

We have been to Sovana many times over the years. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is casual & comfortable. Sovana recently obtained a liquor license but you can still bring your own wine. Sovana offers a reasonably priced express lunch (soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich & dessert) which is what I usually have when I am there in the afternoon. To my mind, Sovana is one of the top restaurants in the region.

Express Lunch

Soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich & dessert. The soup was home made & served hot (the way I like it), salad was crisp with balsamic dressing, sandwich was a bigger than the typical 1/2 & the dessert was made by the in house pasty chef. I was well satisfied
