Soy to the World
So many times I have wondered why Asian restaurants don’t do this more, create a fusion of their wonderful culinary world. The Soy Noodle House proudly boasts plates from the best and most popular dishes that each part of Asia has. Indian, Chinese, , Mongolian, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Phillipino, and probably a few others that I’m unfamilliar with. I’m thoroughly convinced that the Soy Noodle House has something for everybody when it comes to Asian cuisine. My wife and I frequent their establishment, trying new things about once a month. The appetizers are a little pricy for what you get, so its best to leave them for special occasions. I prefer the fried dumplings with ginger soy. The entree’s are of good proportion and cooked fresh before it arrives at your table. There is a full bar on one half of the restaurant and a sushi bar on the other. Intimate seating is available in the rear or tables in the front see out big garden windows overlooking historic Broad St. The staff is eager to please and very attentive with the drinks (big plus in my book). The atmosphere is romantic lighting, brick setting, and not a lot of distractions. Thing to remember here though is: if you’re in a hurry, come back when you can sit and enjoy. Good food takes time and I guarentee you, its worth the wait.

Sesame Chicken
My favorite Chinese dish ever, but unfortunately its one that is screwed up by most Chinese restaurants. This is because most places cook their chicken ahead of time because it saves time and it is really messy to make. The Soy Noodle House though, you can tell, make their chicken at the moment of order. For one, the dish takes a while before it arrives at your table lava hot. After it cools down to human consumption level, you will be in for a treat!! This is what freshness is all about. Served with broccolli, onions, and rice, this peanuty-sauced dish with delight your tastebuds.
Yaki Udon
This Japanese noodle dish is actually quite a hardy meal. A large, almost quart-size bowl of sweet and tangy sauce covering thick noodles and a wide variety of vegetables and your choice of 7 different proteins (chicken, pork, tofu, beef, shrimp, scallop, or salmon) and depending on which meats varies the price. I’ve had this dish several times and its never disappointed to fill up my stomach and soul.
