TGIF FRIDAYS PARSIPPANY NJ IS A DUMP

We will first start off by staying to stay away from TGIF TGIF Fridays, in Parsippany NJ at all costs. To put it simply, its high priced garbage that they serve there. You walk into the place and it smells like an old sweety bar thats never been cleaned.

They deliberately charge an arm and a leg for garbage food. Example, prepared to pay about $26 for 2 grilled chicken sandwiches for and a watered down coke w/o tip. So it would cost them about $2 for both sandwiches to make so where does the $24 go to?

Secondly, NJ Food and Alcohol raided 28 restraunts in NJ for watering down preimum drinks or putting alternative cheaper brands of liquior into premium bottles and charging premium prices. Guess what 14 out of the 28 that got fined, were TGIF Fridays. The excuse they use, was that it was the franchise stores not the corporate stores. Under a franchise license, its the Corporate TGIF that is supposed to make sure the so called franchise stores follow guidelines. Nice excuse. To make matters even more interesting 8 out of the 14 that got busted, belonged to one company.

So you’d think they’d pull the franchise from that Livingston NJ based company, no! Rumor is that the corporate is allowing them to take over even more!

Getting back to the girl’s comment below about Gail the bartender, we would have to agree. She’s likes to mouth off out loud to customers and does not know anything about the being in the hospitality business. She’s rude and self centered….One time this customer totally disrobed from head to toe took off his clothes in the place and Gail did nothing about it whatseover. In fact, he proceeded to run around the restaraunt in that matter, until he fell flat on his face in the dining area.

Corporate you should learn how to run a company, for the longest time the bartenders in this place have been giving away free drinks just so that customers give them bigger tips. This has been going on for the longest time in the Parsippany NJ location for god knows how long, but your General Manager is another piece of work.

He’s taken the best employees this place had and drained away their personalities and made their lives misterable working there, to the point that they left all in one shot.

Luckily there’s a new place thats opening up nearby that will teach TGIF Fridays the meaning of (1) how to treat a customer the right way (2) how to serve the customer a good meal without thinking of the customer as a $ sign (3) how to treat their employees like they are part of something instead of taking them for granted (4) what makes people want to come to a place.

Case in point about #4, we used to like coming to his place because of the people that were once there, after a the longest of times, this place and the people currently employed in it, what they really mean. Now we couldnt care less if this place closed its doors or turned into a Taco Stand!

bar

Had drinks and dinner at the bar. There were two female bartenders working, Gale and unknown. Neither of them came over to us to ask if we wanted any thing the entire time we were there. We had to get their attention to order drinks and food, nobody even came over when our drinks were empty. I think the staff was horrible on this one occasion due lack of friendliness and service.
