- Painfully slow service. Looks like there was a problem in the kitchen bc staff was bring reprimanded. 40 minutes after we ordered they informed us they were out of the entree. Then 20 minutes later we were informed they we out if the appetizer we had

Rip off. Tabella has used the airlines as its inspiration for service. When ordering drinks, my companion ordered a glass of wine and I (the designated driver) ordered a glass of seltzer. The server informed me that Tabella doesn’t serve water by the glass—customers must purchase an entire large bottle. Next I ordered soup ($7.50). When it arrived, I asked for a piece of bread. The server informed me that bread is not served with the soup—customers much purchase an entire half loaf of bread. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager never appeared, but 2 pieces of bread showed up…sans butter. The food is good but far from remarkable. As for the tapas that others have raved about? No longer on the menu. # # #
