Quite Good
Good service, good ambiance, and good food. I’ve been to several Indian restaurants in the Twin Cities and this rates pretty well with the rest of them. They have a nice water fountain (not huge, but decent size) near the entrance, the water trickling sound is kind of relaxing (if you don’t like that sound, I’d ask for a booth not right next to it, the sound isn’t super loud).

Taste of India's Lunch Buffet is Tops
We walked through a double entry that was small and kind of busy into a quaint nicely decorated and themed restaurant with friendly faces greeting us and assisting us to our table.
Our server was friendly, gave us our wine list and explained what was available to us. Our table was draped in white paper with our flat ware wrapped in a napkin, stemmed glassware held our water.
There are large windows on one side of the restaurant draped in elaborately embroidered curtains. The lighting was good and the simple chandaliers which were wrapped in glass beaded vines added a little creative mistique.
We had been told that the buffet was a good experience and told him that was what we wanted. We were directed to the buffet which was well lit and held a nice array of delicious looking and smelling choices with little placards describing the food and how spicy it might be.
Everything was delicious. There was rice, and fried crispy vegetables covered in a tasty batter, and numerous sauces with various kinds of bite sized pieces of meat in them. There were also vegetarian choices.
There was a simple salad bar with cucumbers, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce and numerous dressings to garnish with. There were two dessert choices the one we enjoyed was a cheerful bright yellow mango pudding.
This Indian food was fragrant, well prepared, juicy and inviting. Obvious care had been made to ensure its authenticity and soon we were quite full and still wanting more.
Me and companion had a wonderful time conversing in the tranquil, serene setting, with friendly though not talkative servers. Indian music gently wafted around us, the artwork and atmosphere was tasteful and peaceful.
On a different note The chandaliers could have used a little extra loving care but they were still very pretty.
