First and Last visit
We came here on a bitter cold winter night. I thought the bad weather made it very quiet in this restaurant, we were the only couple here. I ordered the pad see yew thinking this would allow me to see the chef skills before ordering further dishes. To my surprises, the shrimps came out to be tasting rotten and smelled like they were sitting out in room temps for some times before being cooked. So that was unfortunately very disappointed. My partner ordered the pad thai tofu that was not even impressive.

2nd Visit Likely Last
Until the Thai Medallion recognizes that they can’t charge $10 for a single glass of generic red wine, and that their awkward table service has to be improved, this potentially cozy family-run place won’t be bringing customers back.
Our first visit was shortly after they had opened. They did not yet have their liquor license – no big deal. The food was satisfactory enough, and we were hoping for the best for the restaurant.
Our second visit, however, will likely be our last. When our party of four asked for a beer/wine list, the same seemingly-uncomfortable waiter said that they had nothing in print, but he could list them. When one of our friends asked for what red wines they had, he said he didn’t know enough about wine to know what is red and what is white. He then began to recite, "Chardonnay, Merlot, umm, Red, . . . " She cut him off to order a Merlot, just to put him out of his misery. Again, the food was fine, but not a standout. Our shock came with the handwritten bill, when the four glasses of generic, mediocre “red wine” totalled 40% of the $100 bill! We should have protested, especially given that no price per glass had been published anywhere. But employees are scarce here (we saw only two the whole time), and we knew we’d get nowhere with our server.
We always hope to see a self-starter family restaurant make it in Naperville, but unfortunately, this one is going to have to do so without our continued help.
