The Modern

I’ve dined here twice – once in the main dining room, once in the bar room. Both times a great experience. Main dining room is a more expensive and more artistic dishes that really pack a wallop of flavor. Bar room also offers exceptional flavors, everything is served in a large-appetizer/small-entrée size that is intended for sharing. The basil gnocchi is quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten – truly outstanding. The service in the bar room was also superb – the waiter always could sense when we needed something and was right there to help. Service in the dining room is overdone is my opinion. Too many people, too much of a production.

Food was ok, slow service. Loud atmosphere. Came here expecting a lot due to the hype and the prices… a bit disappointed.

Confusing bathrooms, too. Haha. You’ll see.

This restaurant was an unexpected treat. If you sit in the bar room the ambience is good and the prices are reasonable. They have a vast selection of items to choose from on their a la carte menu, and the drink menu offers some old favorites as well as some daring mixes.

Nice place, very very slow service though. our 4 course meal took them 2.5 hrs. Food was ok, nothing to write home about

Excellent decor — though its MoMa, so what do you expect? The food can be a bit more creative though.

I stopped by The Bar Room a few nights ago and it’s still as good as ever. Great appetizers and great wine in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind after work!

The service is good. Location is great. It’s not outrageously expensive and the food has always been good. Never been wowed by anything I’ve eaten here, but never been disappointed really either.
