The Palm Restaurant in Las Vegas, NV unveiled a new menu

On September 12, 2011, The Palm in Las Vegas unveiled a new menu to their guests. What’s new on the interior – new logoed plates, new uniforms for the service staff, and new service techniques for some of your favorite items. The Palm is also celebrating its 85th anniversary this year so watch for dining specials all year long.

Another new spin is a new bread basket of pretzel rolls, walnut raisin bread, sourdough, and Torino bread sticks. The pretzel rolls are awesome! A little salt and the glaze make it the perfect roll. I love the rustic Italian presentation!

Now through November 30, 2011, celebrate The Palm’s 85th Anniversary with a Surf and Turf Dinner for Two at $85. It includes a prime 18 oz. New York strip already sliced for you, and two 6 oz. Nova Scotia Lobster Tails with melted butter and lemon and served with a choice of two starters (Chopped Tomato and Onion Salad, Autumn Salad, Mixed Green Salad, Classic Caesar Salad, or Lobster Bisque) and two sides (choose from their signature vegetable and potato sides).

Lobster Bisque

The Lobster Bisque has a new classy presentation. The bowl is placed in front of you with lobster chunks and crème fraiche in the middle. Your server pours the hot bisque in a swirling motion around the lobster centerpiece and fills the bowl. The bisque is velvety smooth with a rich, hearty flavor of lobster. The crème fraiche makes the bisque creamy and luscious. Add a couple of grinds of fresh ground pepper and you’re good to go. Thumbs up, way up!

New York Strip Steak

The 18 oz. New York strip was cooked to a perfect rare and had optimum seasoning. Its juiciness and char-grilled crust really seals the deal. (Part of Surf & Turf for Two, $85)

Lobster Tail

The lobster tails were cooked to perfection, succulent, and sweet. The drawn butter brought even more sweetness out of each tasty morsel. Thumbs up, way up! (Part of Surf & Turf for Two, $85)

Brussels Sprouts

The Brussels Sprouts were perfectly cooked. But it was a little too heavy on the lemon. It definitely needs to be toned down a bit or else sprinkle lemon zest on top for a nice zing.

Hand Cut French Fries

The French fries are topped with parmesan and garlic. These fries are da bomb! It’s made with fresh cut potatoes with a light, crispy outside and tender inside with a hint of kettle chip flavor. The parmesan garlic seasoning is perfect. Ask your server for a side of ranch dressing and you’re set. Their ranch dressing is so good! Thumbs up, way up!
