This one is interesting… the menu is phenomenal, the food is even better but the atmosphere has thrown me off a little bit, and I feel still has a little bit of catching up to do with the food. The desserts, pastries and baked items are INSANELY delicious. It’s worth a trip just for that. I went for brunch and although I had the oatmeal as I was just in that oatmeal sort of mood, the other entrees my friends ordered looked incredibly yummy. The service was great too! Plus they just sell little cute random items that make this place fun. Now a remodel and relocation outside of a business center would do a lot for this restaurant.

Espresso, awesome brunch, great lunch and sumptious dinners

The Pom has everything you could want in a top-shelf and yet affordable restaurant. They have espresso drinks starting at 7am, brunch on the weekends, quick lunches for entertaining clients and it’s a great spot for taking friends or your sweetie out for a nice dinner.

They have a very good wine list with selections from the Northwest and around the globe. They also feature on-tap selections of beer from Redmond breweries Mac and Jack’s and Black Raven. Ask your server which varieties they’re pouring. They usually have the African Amber and the Trickster IPA respectively.

Low Country Shrimp & North Carolina Stone Ground Grits

This is the Pom’s signature Brunch dish and there’s a good reason why. It’s out-of-this-world delicious. Grits, scrambled eggs, fresh shrimp all smothered in a white wine butter sauce and accompanied by home-baked slices of toasted bread. I urge you to save the toast until the end so you have something to mop up the shrimp sauce from the bottom of the bowl. You will thank me!

This recipe uses the real slow cooking stone-ground grits and the texture is just something you cannot get with quick grits. The sauce is a little spicy, but all the shrimp flavor still comes through.
