Not so stinking...
It just seems to me that anyplance calling themselves the stinking rose should really just be so very heavy on the garlic. Food was nothing special and a bit overpriced. My lasagna was just okay with the gourmet veggies, but a little heavy on the cheese. And, well, I coulndn’t really taste too much garlic. I sampled everyone’s dish and really couldn’t say I tasted anything especially garlicky. Or anything special. The fresh chopped garlic that comes with the bread is, however, divine! And the garlic olive oil is good. I think that was my favorite part of the whole meal with the roasted garlic appetizer.
The decor is pretty ecclectic/bohemian. There are little “tents” for lovers and first dates. Very romantic and cozy. It’s nice to say I have been there. but i don’t think I would make too much of an effort to go back. I give it three stars for the ambience and garlic souvies you can purchase.

Garlic everything! A fairly entertaining atmosphere that mimics the outdoor experience in Italy – indoors. The food is delicious if you like garlic; if you don’t, I’m not sure why’d you come here. The garlic cooked in olive oil appetizer is recommended as it supplies the full experience. The steak Is the big surprise, using an infusion of garlic to add a nice extra flavor to the meat. It is a bit expensive and didn’t wow me as a five star but worth a try at least once.

Garlic, garlic, garlic…Didn’t care for the mandatory valet parking but the food was excellent. While we were deciding what to eat, we munched on some bread by dipping it in their olive oil mixed in with a spoonful of their garlic and I think minced scallions. I never ate so much bread in my life. Real tasty. Garlic fries was not that impressive. It seemed a little dry with some of the same garlic/scallion mix on top. For the main course, I ordered the 40 clove chicken. The sauce and chicken was so good I couldn’t put down my fork. Will definitely come back to try the other plates.

Went there once. Service sucked, meal was mediocre, and I saw a roach crawling on the wall next to my booth. When I informed the manager, he didn’t do anything.
YUK. I almost threw up when the server tried to catch the lil’ sucker…
