Little Known Secret
The Yellow Porch is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Luckily, we have many fine eateries herre in Nashville, but this little place is tops. The food and service are both stellar. My only remark would be the poor lighting, but our waitress graced us w/ little mag lites. She even offered reading glasses. She must have been able to discern our aging eyes!
Dishes Tried:
Halibut w/ polenta, asparagus and red pepper cream sauce
This was over the top delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Crispy polenta rounds on the bottom w/ the cream sauce topped w/ the asparagus and a large white piece of halibut. There were a few capers sprinkled in for tang.
mussels
smooth, creamy plump, soft mussels…in a garlicky, slightly thickened broth w/ toasted and buttered artisan bread points….YUMMY…….
