Fresh seafood restaurant

Went for dinner on a Thursday evening with friends. Atmosphere is congenial with nice subdued lighting. Service was excellent. Started my dinner with appetizer of mussels prepared like escargot with garlic and spinach. They made a beautiful presentation and also came with warm crusty bread to soak up all the butter. Entree was lobster mac and cheese. I had always wanted to try this dish and decided this was the night for a calorie splurge. The pasta was al dente with loads of cheddar cheese and butter. Lobster was a bit scarce, but still a very tasty dish. Drinks were reasonably priced. I enjoyed the experience.

Great food

Great food. Interesting variety and many choices of unusual dishes. And drinks The staff was friendly and helpful and the owner cane over to check in as well. The ambiance was wonderful after a difficult day at work. I’d come back in a heartbeat

Excellent but very rich. I’d suggest splitting with companuon

Shrimp scampi

Delicious but very overpriced – 4 shrimp was not enough for $21!!

Wanted to try Third Coast Provisions as I love oysters and seafood. Walking in, was greeted immediately and had a seat at the fish-shaped bar. The server made some recommendations and I opted for the raw oyster platter and the lobster potholes. The raw oyster platter did not disappoint, but the lobster potholes was just OK (went with the server’s recommendation). While it had nice chunks of lobster, it was a big on the greasy side. I will definitely go back as I liked the vibe of the restaurant and want to try more items on the menu.

OYSTER PLATTER at Third Coast Provisions

While all of the oysters were delicious, I thought it was a bit pricey for 6 oysters.

jumbo lump crab, garlic + herb butter, brioche – didn’t skimp on the lobster, but very greasy.
