Awful Policies!
The food is pretty good here, but the restaurant’s policies are awful. They do not accept credit cards, not even checks. Honestly, what restaurant these days doesn’t accept checks, credit cards or even debit cards?
Also, they are only open five days a week, usually from 5-9PM. So why would I go here when I could go to Dominics or Ninos, both open seven days a week, all day?
In short, we stopped going because between the cash only policy, the insanely limited hours and the terrible location the restaurant is in made it became undesireable.
The New Owner Has a Great Story for you.
In 1984, Stephen D’Angelo answered a classified ad for “Pizza Maker & Chef” at Tony Dell’s in west Boca Raton. Stevie found a second home at Tony Dell’s and has been a fixture ever since. Throughout the years, Stevie worked as a Chef & Pizza Maker with Tony, Mitch and Robert. He has cooked alongside all of the owners and made the customers feel at home.Even though Stephen D’Angelo (DJ Stevie D) has spent 26 years as one of South Florida’s Finest DJ’s, he knew that Tony Dell’s was where he was meant to be. Tony Dell’s Italian restaurant, established in 1973, was the next best thing to eating at your Italian grandmother’s, or at Nona’s house. Stevie told his friends “One day, I’m going to own this place!” Robert lovingly handed Tony Dell’s over to Stevie in September 2012. Both knew that this is exactly what Tony Dell would have wanted. Stevie will continue the Tony Dell tradition, which is his honor. Fact: Tony Dell’s is the Very 1st Restaurant West of I95 in Boca Raton.“It is my pleasure to welcome you to what has always been my dream” Stephen M. D’Angelo
Tony Dell's Italian Restaurant
Tonight I had the delight of dining at Tony Dell’s. It was like coming home. The wait staff was warm, welcoming and attentive, thank you Rose and Shannon. Dee greeted me as a long lost friend, and as usual the food was TERRIFIC! The cheese bread is out of this world, and the salad fresh and tasty. Especially nice is the carafe of salad dressing left on the table so you can have as much or little as you desire. Our food was hot from the oven, and perfectly prepared. The eggplant parm is delicious and more than enough to be shared. I have missed Tony Dell’s but we will be back.

I have been going to this Family run restaurant (Tony Dell’s) since 1996; and the food has always been always superb. The Husband and Wife are the nicest People you will ever want to meet. The Lasagna is my favorite with the beautiful meat sauce, Tony doesn’t hold back on favor. (So Good) My Mom, not with us now, thoroughly enjoyed their spaghetti with extra sauté and mushrooms. As she was on her last days I would bring Mom a plate of Tony Dell’s and I got to see her smile one more time. Thanks Tony and Wife…..
I’m a retired Individual which worked for 34 years as a National Account Manager with the largest Corporation in the world. I had the opportunity to experience the best and Tony Dell’s is the BEST!!!!
