Tremendous BBQ Too - 2nd location in Middleburg
Treemendous BBQ & Catering has a new 2nd location on Russell Road (SR 209) about 1/2 mile south of CR 220. It has a Middleburg address, but its location is mid-way between Middleburg and Orange Park.
This place is a quaint little house re-done into a restaurant. Quarters inside are tight and close, but it is a friendly atmosphere. If you are not into competing with the noise, picnic tables on the deck outside can accomodate you if the weather cooperates.
Menu is they typical BBQ offerings and portions are generous and their BBQ is delicious. To date I’ve tried the chicken, pork, and ribs. Consistantly good. Sides are just okay and scream “mass produced” but I went for the BBQ and was not disappointed. The only dessert I’ve tried is their Banana Pudding and I would not order it again as it was very disappointing. Cakes seem to be their specialty but I have not tried them.
Prices are moderate and you definately get more than enough food for your money. Staff is friendly and courteous.
