- I am highly allergic to shrimp I ordered french toast, eggs, grits & cheese with a side order of hash browns I had shrimp in my hash browns that cross contaminated my food I told her while she was taking my order. Really I could have die because it stops

Great Food & Great Prices - Good Service, Too!
This restaurant serves breakfast as long as it is open. I believe they are open 24 hrs on weekends. Huge omelets, grits, pancakes, etc. At lunch, they have great hot plates, but you better get there or call for pick up early because the specials sell quick. I always get their chef salads – giant-sized w/plenty of roast beef, ham, turkey, 3 cheeses. In fact, I had one for lunch just today!! No matter what you’re hungry for, they probably have it on their menu. It’s simply a great little restaurant that serves up some really good home-style food. I highly recommend it. On weekends (and even late nights when they’re open 24 hrs) you can plan on waiting in line. But that’s just how good the food is! Oh, yes, and the servers are a good bunch of people, too. There is a definite comradery between the customers (who are mostly locals) and the restaurant staff. They really make you feel at home. Nobody’s a stranger there. You wanna know where to get good food in New Orleans? Ya gotta go where the locals go.

Huge – I can’t finish it all at one sitting so I usually save it for dinner, too!!
Meatballs
Tender meatballs with lots of seasoning (you can NEVER have too much garlic!!). Great, light sauce. This is one special that sells QUICK. I’m not going to tell you what day they serve it on because then you might call before me and get the last order!!
Cheese Omelet
All of their omelets are fantastic, but my all-time favorite will always be just plain ol’ cheese. With hash browns (home fries), or grits – m-m-m-m I’m making myself hungry!
