Small, Cozy, good food and wine, friendly staff
This is one of my favorite places on the east side. The staff is Italian and very friendly (I believe it’s a family business), the bruschetta tasted very authentic and true to the one I tasted in Italy, well not actually in Italy but it was in Europe and homemade by an Italian friend, you get the idea.
The place is small but it adds to its cozy ambience. The staff is super friendly and they tossed in free dessert when they learned it was my girlfriend’s birthday one time we were there.
Perfect for dates and small groups of 2-4. Not exactly cheap but not terribly expensive either. Expect maybe $30 per person (without wine)

Tropea is my favorite Italian restaraunt in the area. They rate with Asagio’s in Seattle, and I never thought I would say that!
Great food, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food :).
