Tuscany Country Grill

My husband and I have been eating here since they opened, about every other month. It’s not very authentic, but better than pasta pomodoro. For not being very authentic, the prices are a little over the top. We had a very bad experience with the waitress named Racey on Sunday. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and she brought out us a little bowl (about 2 teaspoons) of parmesan cheese. I asked if we could have another and she said it would be 95 cents for extra cheese. IMO, it’s bad business to charge a customer if they want extra cheese. The Italian restaurants we’ve been to grate the cheese right over your plate. They don’t charge you each time they grate more cheese for you. Anyway, the bill came to $37.78. We left five $1.00 bills as a tip. So, as we were leaving the restaurant, she ran out with the bill and tip and said that we left our change. I said that was the tip. She said, in these exact words, “No, I think you need it more than me.” Very rude and unprofessional!

First time I have been in this restaurant. Some one else told me about it. The food was great, salad was fresh, fish (sole) was excellent. veg cooked just right. Bread dessert was excellent home made. You are missing out if you don’t try this restaurant.
