Don't Bother
Horrible place. Bad service, To get food you must hurry to buffet when they walk out with it or wait half an hour for the next pizza.
The floor in the restroom was hideous too, It was so slick an unstable walker would have hit the floor. Law suit waiting to happen.

Horrible place. Service sucked. They used to have the best salad bar in town. Now they have very few items on there. Their salad dressing looks watered down. We went there on the lunch hour 12-1. When we got there they had three nearly gone pizza’s on the buffet. We were there for 30 minutes and one pizza had been replaced and eaten and several customers including myself asked when we could be expecting more pizza. The response was we just put some in. They only had about 20 people there on the entire lunch hour. With service like this I guess that is why people don’t go there. I mean really when you go to a pizza buffet you expect to be able to get some pizza not have to fight a crowd for the one pizza they put out.

Not the Valentino's I used to know.
My wife, being from the Nebraska area turned me on to Valentino’s Restaurants a few years ago while traveling through Nebraska. I love Italian food and she had worked there years ago and while traveling in Grand Island we decided to stop and give it a try. It was awesome. Since that time we had eaten in Hastings, Nebraska and Seneca, Kansas both enjoyable but Grand Island was the best. After not eating at Valentino’s for a long while we decided to stop in North Platte for gas and some food and why not Valentino’s there. Valentino’s is an Italian style buffet. It’s relatively inexpensive and the food choices are really vast. Salads, Lasagne, Pizza, Soups, etc. I was hungry and I knew this was going to be good…. NOT!
It was early afternoon and a good crowd. We got a good seat and when I went up to the food court there was hardly anything fresh left at all. I decided to wait awhile, surely they would be bringing the good stuff out. Never happened. Every now and then a couple pizza’s would appear but that was it. I heard numerous growns from customers. I watch a couple waitresses read a very bad customer review card and then tear it up and throw it away. I ask a waitress what the problem was and she said they only had one cook and he was new and about 19 years old. He brought some chicken out so I ran to get a piece. It sure looked good. It was hot and dark brown skin and frozen solid in the middle. My wife wanted to actually go to Amigo’s but I talked her in the Valentino’s, sorry honey. I like Valentino’s, if you ever have the chance to try one go to Grand Island, Nebraska or any other one besides North Platte. I wouldn’t give this one a second chance. I rated this a one star only because it was easy to leave without anyone saying, “Come back soon”.

Pasta was cold. Chicken was frozen. Waitresses were unprofessional.
If you don’t have anything good to say, say nothing at all.
