Vic Stewarts Steak House in Brentwood Ca 94513
My husband and I enjoyed our visit to the Walnut Creek location of Vic Stewarts a couple of years back and simply enjoyed everything about them. The service was excellent, the food GREAT and the atmosphere was elegant.
So when I heard a Vic Stewarts opened up in my area of Brentwood, I was extremely happy. Looking forward to going I asked my husband to take me there for my birthday, I have to tell you – what a HUGE difference.
The service was pleasant enough but I wished our server listened more to our order then tell us his life story – come on really? I’m there to have a NIGHT with my husband, not to be entertained by him.
Food was NOT GOOD!! My spinach salad was drenched in dressing. We requested our meats, my fillet mignon & my husband the rib eye to be cooked medium. When we received our meals both our meats were over cooked at the start of the steak then under cooked to raw as we cut further into our meat. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! For a restaurant to call themselves a steak house they really should prefect the way to cook the meat.
Atmosphere was nice – location poor-
The overall experience was DISSAPOINTING and not worth the $140.00 bill. Thank goodness I did not order the market price for surf and turf at 75.00 a pop., and I dont mind paying a pretty penny for good food and experience.
