Peruvian Flair to the Menu
This is an interesting place on Elizabeth Ave. The advertisements say “Peruvian” and I can say that it was enjoyable. It was comfortable, nice, with great service and the food was excellent – a bit unusual for our “southern taste buds” but not bad at all. It was different from the usual “home cooking” we see in the South. The staff was willing to explain if anything we didn’t understand. Nothing fancy, plain molded plastic tables and chairs, but was casual and relaxed.
Dishes Tried:
Classic Saltado
Sirloin steak with spices “and things” over French fries and white rice. Definitely different from the slab of meat we usually see when think of “sirloin”. We both had this and it was delightful.
