"Great food, lots of it, at a great price."
"Their Lengua taco was delicious, enough meat for two and great chicken enchiladas con rice and beans. It's a little bit of a wait, but it's homemade on the spot. I highly recommend."

Best authentic Mexican in Western Washington
It’s a hole in the wall, and the service is somewhat inconsistent….but the food is excellent/authentic and the place is constantly packed. Where else are you going to get shredded goat tacos, enchilada suiza, and similar stuff this good? Don’t expect “sophisticated,” because what this place is, is a great example of an everyday Mexican restaurant with simple, tasty ingredients. And they don’t serve salsa and chips, because guess what…they rarely do that in Mexico! This is as close to the “real deal” as you are going to get in western Washington.

Not worth the Hype!
I’ve heard great things about this place from family so I had to try it out. I had been there before for a burrito to go and they’re good but this time I decided to spend my whole lunch break there. I ordered the enchiladas rancheras which comes with 3 enchiladas, rice, beens, guacamole, sour cream and a six ounce steak or chicken breast for $9.98. Well, it arrived stone cold so much that the cheese in the enchiladas had never even melted. The corn tortillas around the enchildas were soggy, shiny and raw, not crispy around the edges nor drenched in bubbling ranchera sauce and cheese like they’re supposed to be. I hadn’t even realised that I was ordering three cheese enchiladas which would have been a total cheese overdose had I even been able to consume it all. The carne asada steak on the side was cold as well as really salty and laced with garlic. The beans were cold as was the rice. I can only recommend the guacamole. I barely ate any of this dish and to the waitresses credit she offered to refund my money that I left on table when I swiftly bolted out the door but was stopped by her in the parking lot. I won’t be back since I know where the good mexican food can be found here in T-Town but I don’t give good reviews only bad ones so that my usual haunts don’t get over crowded or over hyped like Vuelve A La Vida obviously has been.
