Zaxby's does good chicken
Zaxby’s is a chain that specializes in chicken. I’ve generally had good experiences in each branch I’ve visited, but the Knox Abbot location is one of my favorites. On the rare occasion there was a problem with a meal, the manager was very apologetic and promptly addressed the issue. They clearly care about quality food and a good dining experience.
My favorite lunchtime meal is a “Zalad” (Zaxby’s Salad), a large bowl of salad covered with chicken of your choice — grilled, fried, buffalo, etc. However, they also have excellent wings (with an assortment of sauce flavors), chicken tenders, sandwiches — basically anything that’s made of chicken! I also like their fries and onion rings.
Dishes Tried:
House Zalad
Fresh vegetables, generous helping of fried chicken bites on top, and nice assortment of additional toppings (cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, crunchy fried onion bits). Generous helping of salad and will fill you up without feeling “heavy.”
