I wrote a scathing review of Sam’s Seafood back in September, the food was scarce and overpriced but I loved the ambiance. Well I got some coupons in the mail for Happy Hour (drinks and appetizers all 2.95) and so my hubby and I gave it a second chance. It was excellent! I had the salad and the sweet potato fries – both delish. My husband got the pulled pork sandwiches and loved them. IT inspired us to go back for their brunch on Sunday. We were BLOWN AWAY! The food was beautifully prepared and all super high quality. They had made-to-order macadamia nut & white chocolate pancakes, amazing fruit selection and good cheeses (brie, yum!) as well as meat on sticks, eggs, potatoes, omelet station and a desert selection that was killer. I never have seen such large cream puffs! Unlimited champagne and coffee was included and our glasses were refilled after every sip! The best part is an ongoing hula show all morning, that gets really good at 11am. They even pull guests up to dance and I was one of them. We had a blast and we can’t wait to go back. Congrats Kona’s – you did it! I am a changed woman!
