Due Amici Italian Grill

 2114 Branch Pike
Cinnaminson, NJ

Due Amici, CInnaminson, NJ

Another hidden gem off the main roads! After they reconfigured Rt 130 North by Cinnaminson Ave, they made it confusing on how to get back to Branch Pike, but take the time to do so as the food and service is exquisite! I am looking forward to a warm night to have dinner out on the patio. After an approximate 10 year span, food has always been more than delicious. They just changed the menu and perhaps chefs, but it is still great food and don’t forget, BYOB!

Chicken with Crab

On our first visit this year we had a seafood platter appetizer of scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams with asparagus and mushrooms and fresh garlic ALL cooked to perfection! HOW did they do THAT! My main course as well as my companion consisted of chicken and crab meat along with grilled vegetables that were wonderful. We both said this was the BEST MEAL WE EVER HAD! Everything was perfect! Service and atmosphere were great as well. We decided it was impossible to do better than perfect so 2 weeks later we tried again and their menu changed. We told the waiter what we had and they tried to replicate it. It wasn’t the same but still delicious. I assume they got a new chef. We tried to go for the Sunday brunch buffet 2 weeks later but a crowd of 40 were to be coming in and they told us the only seating was on the patio and we would have to come in through the parking lot to get our food! Now the greeter was young and may not know there is a DOOR from the patio to allow us in for food, but because it was chilly and windy we decided to eat else where. (She wanted us to bring a plate of food through the parking lot in the wind? Nah!) That is a personel issue and not a food issue so we are still going to try to get back to sample their buffet.

Bruno's Restaurant & Pizza

 509 Hopkins Rd
Haddonfield, NJ

Bruno's Pizzaria and Restuarant, Hopkins Rd, Haddon Heights,

Feel very priviledged to know of Bruno’s Restaurant as it is tucked in the middle of a neighborhood, off Rt 30 (WHP). I know from past experience to not try to go on Fri or Sat night if I am really hungry, but even then the wait may not be too long-and it will be worth it. It is always clean and the service has been wonderful. There is a Liquor Store attached so if you forgot it is a BYOB, fear not, there are plenty of choices right here! The place isn’t huge so each party gets special attention (Bruno wouldn’t have it any other way either!). I am eager to go back each time I have eaten here. You don’t need to wait for a special occassion-it becomes one when you are here!

Chicken Asparagus

I had been away from Bruno’s for a few years, but every visit then the food was cooked to perfection. This visit was no different. I was happy to see my selection was still on the menu and again was PERFECT and more than ample in size! My companion had a similar chicken dish but cooked in a blush sauce and he LOVED it! This was his first visit and he can’t wait to go back! BYOB so you can spend on good food. Add the side order of Asparagus, Broccoli rabe or in my case, Spinach and it is a perfect meal! Breads are fresh served with stewed peppers, salads were fresh and the atmosphere is cozy. Of course, Bruno makes his rounds to make sure his customers are happy-who else does THAT?! Love this place and am anxious to go back! I might even save room for one of the delicious desserts offered…be warned, they bring these temptations to your table and it is tough to not drool!
