Blueberry Pancakes Rrock!
Well, I don’t know much but I do know my pancakes or hot cakes as we called them. The blueberries are what make those pancakes at Bread and Porridge so authentic. I swear they taste like the one my granny made for me back home in Maine! Some of the reviewers that bellyached about the pancakes probably don’t know what real hotcakes as supposed to taste like. These guys that keep talking about “fluffiness” probably learned all about pancakes at IHOP! Scratch hotcakes with blueberries cant be “fluffy” if they are filled with tons of berries like they do at Bread and Porridge. Almost as good as the ones at Jordans in Bar Harbor.
The only complaint I had at this place is the wait on weekend mornings, but the waiters are nice and bring me coffee if I have to wait in their waiting area. Well, the only other complaint might be that they brew their Frenchy press coffee too strong, but otherwise I love teh place.
