I have a very frustrating situation that made me and our security team “red hot furious” at how the Queen (Aretha Franklin) was treated today by and employee at Johnny Rockets Burger restaurant in Niagra Falls, Canada inside the Falls View Casino and Resort. I went to take her to get a burger and soda cause she was very hungry before we left the casino. When we attempted to sit down to wait on her food the rudest employee i’ve ever met in my 54 of existence came to the table and told her in front of us and other guests, that she had to eat outside. We were stunned. When asked why she said their tables were only for people who ordered inside. When we then said the restaurant was empty and what was the problem with waiting on the queens food inside , she said she didn’t care if we ordered “to go” we had to wait out side the restaurant.

The Queen (Aretha), then said well ive changed my mind and would like to eat at the table please. The employee then said now we couidn’t change our mind and eat inside but still had to eat outside their restaurant. Then queen call the lady aside and told her who she was and that we were guests of the Casino and wanted to sit down and eat. The lady at Johnny Rockets said she didn’t care who Aretha was we had to eat outside. I became furious at how openly disrespectful this woman was to Aretha with other guests watching and listening. I immediately told her to move away from Ms. Franklin and demanded my money back for my aunts meal. She kept saying while she was voiding out my credit card transaction that she didn’t care if Aretha was an international celebrity she was not gonna sit in their restaurant and eat after placing a “to go” order in a literally empty restaurant. I asked the lady what would happen if Ms.Franklin and our team went public with this? She said she didn’t care. So FB fans of Ms. Franklin – im going public with this. I encourage all of you to share this on your timelines with your FB friends so that Johnny Rockets Burger restaurant will understand that they cannot treat our Queen or anyone for that matter the way they treated Aretha Franklin today. When does common sense over rule customer service and their company policy which says you cannot eat in their restaurant if you order “to go” even if you change your mind and want to eat inside when your spending your money.

Please do not eat or spend your money at any Johnny Rocket Restaurant in protest of how our Queen was publicly treated at their restaurant.
