I have been going here for the best tortillas and great Mexican food since they were in a tiny room added to the front of the Salazar house. The secret to their success is the amazing flour tortillas they produce by the hundreds daily. Whenever I used to travel north to visit friends I would make it a point to stock up on packages of St Mary’s tortillas to give as gifts. Some of my friends got so they looked forward to me coming just because they knew I would bring tortillas!
I also love their tamales, green chile, and birria.
When I visit I always pick up a pint of their excellent carne seca to take home as well as my usual order of a carne seca and egg burrito, double wrapped!
Try them you won’t be disappointed!
