After living in Forest Park for a couple of years, My husband and I decided to try this place tonight. We had heard several people talk about it, and we were only hoping that there was a local place which would be a least a little entertaining. Boy were we surprised. This truly authentic family style, classic Italian restaurant was delightfully lively and very fun.

My Husband had the angle hair with vodka sauce and a side of Italian sausage, while I had the chicken parm. Both dishes were outstanding, just more than we (or anyone) could have ever eaten in a single sitting.

The restaurant was decorated in pictures from local high school and social events. It was really fun that we recognized someone in one of the pictures. Our waitress was also fantastic. She provided a few laughs and even a couple of free rounds at the end of the dinner.

My husband and I cannot wait until we can go back; we heard from the table next to us that nothing compares to the pizza at Jimmy’s Place. Sounds like fun.
