Norris's Famous Place For Ribs

It's past it's prime.

I had one of their weekly special, Roast Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and greenbeans at a lunch special price of $7.99.

The portions were on the small side. The turkey was moist and tasty as was the stuffing, however, there wasn’t much of the stuffing under the turkey and gravy. The mashed potatoes were an ice cream scoop, which was also small. The green beans were overcooked and soggy. They changed their policy regarding bread. It used to be served when you sat down. I hadn’t been there for quite awhile. The server said if you want the bread you have to ask for it. Their bread use to be fresh mad and very good. I was finished with my food when I asked about it.

My spouse had the build a burger with bacon, lettuce, onion. He didn’t want french fries so he substituted onion rings for an additional 99 cents. The burger was okay, but turned out to be $10.00 with the “build” costs and the onion rings. This restaurant if famous for it’s onion loaf which is delicious.
Unfortunately, the do not use the “loaf” onion rings as a side dish. The used basic onion rings with a very poor tasting batter. They was soft and not crispy as one would expect. It will be another few years before we go back and try this place. They have been in business for about 30 years or so.
