I LOVE IT!

You can get a huge noodle dish for like 6 bucks, whether it be a crispy noodle, wok noodle, pad that, etc, a salad for $2 and a magnifico bubble tea for $3.

I swear you can’t go wrong at this place!

Very good sit-down Chinese restaurant.

Food wasn’t bland, had quite a bit of flavor.

The friendliness of the staff wasn’t spectacular, but that’s what happens when you eat at a Chinese restaurant actually run by Chinese people. (I can say that b/c I AM Chinese). Despite their somewhat harshness, they were on the ball and kept our water glasses full and consolidated dishes on the lazy susan so that we had room for more courses.

Fun place to hang out, friendly waitstaff.

Good if you like shepherd’s pie (but I don’t).

Delicious, big, crispy steak fries.

Excellent food.
I eat their lunch wagon food about once a week at the Yale-NH Hosp and just ate at the actual restaurant for the first time.

The drunken noodles, tofu and broccoli and cashew chicken are all superb.

Great garlic naan.

Appetizer portions are a little small.

Entrees are a little pricey for being called a “casual” restaurant.

Atmosphere is great and fun.

Bread basket is superb. You get 2 kinds of bread w/ a tomato-eggplant antipasto spread, which is yummy.

Food is cheap, a lot cheaper than you’d imagine for the environment, but believe me, you get what you pay for. The eggplant parmesean was mediocre and tastes so much better at chain Italian restaurants like Macaroni Grill, etc.

And the service again, as is with most restaurants in New Haven, was poor. It could be b/c we had a big party, it could be b/c we’re young, i dunno.

So basically, if you want good bread and want to sit down in a neat looking place, go to Nikkita, but dont really expect a whole lot more.

I’m sure it’s more fun if you’re over 21 and can drink the microbrews…

The apple/gorgonzola salad w/ walnuts was quite delish…

The pizza is okay, it’s got a really thin neapolitan crust but isn’t very filling.

Not a diverse menu.
Ridiculous that they charge 18% for parties of 6 or more at what essentially is a coffee shop.
Service is bad.

Decent Thai.
No sticky rice, however, which is kind of blasphemous.
