Having moved from NYC, my wife and I consider ourselves disgruntled diners, relentlessly trying to find a restaurant that measures up to “the greats” in the big apple.

It took a long time, but after serious consideration, we’re ready to bestow on Lola’s Latin Bistro our first Big Apple 5 rating.

Lola’s provides the whole package. Quaint vibrant ambiance indoors with a neuvo glass-filled fire pit outdoors. An eclectic menu of latin favorites each prepared from scratch including a to die for ceviche with toasted corn (my personal favorite).

And to top it off, it’s a BYO next door to an extensive wine store, which keeps the price as palate able as the fare.
