Deliciouis sandwiches. Must try the oatmeal shake! Smalll, intimate, cozy, casual. Usually a wait, even on weeknights, and especially groups larger than 4.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich. Even better – the sides! I LOVE the corn pudding (somewhere between corn casserole and dressing). The desserts are also a must-try: whatever pie is a-baking that day, and definitely get the banana pudding. Tight space (maybe 9 tables?), and cash only, but definitely worth it. Plus, it’s super close to my new place now. Yay!

The seafood and mixed paellas are delicious here! Sangria (red, white and other flavors) is flowing and yummy – perfect mix of fruitiness and wine. The tapas are what makes this place memorable. When in doubt, get all the highlighted menu options (from both cold and hot tapas). Don’t miss the patatas bravas – potatoes may seem simple, but the spicy dipping sauce is to die for! The meat dishes are also delicious, especially the ribs and the lamb.

Open late (11pm on weeknights), GREAT homemade baked goods the good old fashioned way. Delicious coffee, and nice atmosphere. Easy street parking. The panini sandwiches are also delicious – the Bella Capri is my fave!

The atmosphere was fun, but a little too loud for good conversation. The food was yummy! We had the clams, some skate fish with capers and potatoes, and the slow-roasted lamb. Wanted to try the paella too, but that’ll have to be for next time. The red wine sangria was yummy, but nothing spectacular. Will have to try some of the Spanish wines next time. Oh yes, there WILL be a next time! Anyone interested?

Nice atmosphere – small, but definitely cozy and neighborhood-ey. Their coffee is delicious – I had the cafe au lait. And the mini-scone is soft on the inside, not rock-hard like the ones they serve at Borders. :) Very friendly staff, and equally friendly clientele – sitting by the front window provides a nice afternoon of people-watching. Their paninis smelled really good too – I’ll try that next time.

Juicy burgers + a pitcher of beer + a few good friends + a beer garden + beautiful weather = a totally chill, totally fun casual dinner out. So the actual interior of the restaurant is a little (or a lot?) dingy, but the beer garden has a great atmosphere. Cons: they always seem to be a little understaffed, so don’t go when you’re in a hurry to eat.
