Good Family Joint

We found Johnny’s based on a recommendation several years ago. I grew up in South NJ/Philly and we always had plenty of Sicilian pizza so I’m used to pizza baked in pans. Johnny’s crust is thinner than a traditional Sicilian with a boldly seasoned sauce and plenty of good quality cheese. The have seasoned pans from years of use that make an awesome crust.

We are limited in our restaurant selection because of our son’s food allergies. The owner Eddie, his wife, and staff always accommodate my son’s peanut/ dairy allergy. He ensures that his cooks put on new gloves and that my son gets a plain tomato sauce pie. Actually, if you haven’t tried it, the tomato pie rocks with their heavily laced oregano and garlic sauce.

On the regular pizza side, I like their sausage pizza. You can pick up the fennel in the spices. It is much more robust than the typical pizza parlor sausage.

We are now regulars and the other families who frequent Johnny’s are like old friends. We look forward to going to Johnny’s after our little league games or any night when we need to relax! Two pies with a couple of sodas and a pitcher beer is only about 25 bucks! You can’t beat that with a stick.
