This little Chinese takeout storefront is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Raleigh NC area. Excellent menu and fast, expert preparation. It’s a ten minute drive from our place — we call in an order and it’s waiting for us when we get there. If you want to actually eat at the New Panda, they have about a half-dozen four-seat booths, counter service only.
The food is always tasty and well prepared — often noticeably better than the local big-name Chinese restaurants. Far superior to the average Chinese takeout kitchen in this area.
Dishes Tried:
Chicken Chop Suey
The classical dish, very well prepared, served over noodles or steamed rice. We prefer the rice. This is the standard lunch menu. Larger servings are available at higher prices.
