Always looking for a chance to eat this pizza

While I don’t often eat pizza (due to my desire to lose weight), I have learned that when I DO eat pizza, it better be good.

While in high school in the late ’70’s, I used to go with my friend’s to Luna Pizza in the Hartford, CT area. When I found they were opening in Northampton, I was quite happy.

Luna Pizza uses fresh mozzarella (not the part skim and vegetable oil used on most pizzas these days) and fresh tomato sauce. It is, simply, the tastiest pizza around. While they deliver, try it at least once in the restaurant to get the full enjoyment. You won’t be sorry.

Oh- and they have Berkshire Pale and Steel Rail on tap :)

Great local food

Even if you are not a vegan diner, you will still enjoy the food here. Terrific salads, baked goods, sandwiches and daily specials. The coffee is good and they have free wifi. I love going for lunch and spending a few hours working (laptop + wifi = work). The owners of this cafe used to own Fire & Water in Northampton.

not a Turkey sandwich

My favorite- home baked bread, lettuce, soy cheese, “nayonnaise” and tofurky. Served with some salsa and tortilla chips.
