Simple New Englandlish Food no Pizzazz
The ambience is like the cabin of a boat owned by grandma. Plain oak throughout, blownup prints from the 80’s, and a color palette of green and blue. Boring! The food is okay. The service today was below average, that is until the bill added up to more of a tip, by %. Come to Newport if you’re in need of some decent seafood. Definitely hit M&S first if you can afford it.

Small Cobb Salad
Normally this salad is excellent. Tonight it was too cold and overdressed. Lettuce, tomato,egg, avocado, bacon, and olives + ranchy dressing. Order it, ask for “easy on the dressing”.
Alaskan Halibut
Way overpriced for the soaked breaded fish that came out. I expected a light plate. Instead the fish was barely crusted with hazelnuts and drenched in butter sauce. We opted for creamy orzo instead of basmati rice. Good choice. Orzo made the dinner! Also came with broccoli as a vegetable. I suggest their glass if Chard by Sonoma Cutrer for $14.
