Had the most fabulous dinner last night at the preview for Edgar’s Grille (www.edgarsgrille.com). Started with spotted trotter duck prosciutto, mission figs, rosemary goat’s cheese – then a salad of butter greens, lemon truffle vinaigrette, tart apple, aged cheddar, candied walnuts – followed by lump crab cake, microgreen salad, lemon aioli – then incredible shrimp and grits- and even though I was completely stuffed – finished with coffee and hickory hill buttermilk panna cotta with preserved apricots and a lace cookie. Heaven!
