California Pizza Kitchen
Pembroke Pines, FL
Good experience for My First Diet Week
I’ve been here countless times during my fight against my midsection, and the menu here never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, ready to answer menu questions and prompt. There are endless opportunities for those on low carb/low fat diets, but also a lot of normal people food as well :). The Avocado Club Egg Rolls are good, but I would recommend the salads (Waldorf or Grilled Vegetable) for those counting calories. They also have specialty pizza’s that can be made on whole wheat dough for those of us with carb cravings

I only come here for their Guac Live appetizer, which is basically just having a server make guacamole at the table in front of you. I love this because the avocado’s are always fresh and it usually tastes awesome. However, the last few times I’ve gone here, they’re been unable to make it which is a huge disappointment. For those who want a quick lunch, they have a choose two combination, which always you to pick from an assortment of Mexican favs which is very reasonable. And those wanting something hearty for supper, the Dos Equis Fish taco’s are extremely good!

Sushi Sogo Japanese Restaurant
Cooper City, FL
Amazing!!!
I love the quality of the fish every time I come here! I usually come for a Sashimi Appitizer, miso soup, and seaweed salad. The fish is always fresh, and the servers are always friendly, even if they’re a bit hard to understand. I’ve eaten they’re rolls as well, and loved the Pokemon and S&P Rolls until I went on a diet. Brown rice is an option on everything, and the menu offers a bit of everything Japanese.

China Pavilion Restaurants
Pembroke Pines, FL
Dim Sum
The food is really good compared to surrounding Chinese places. I usually come for dim sum, around 11am because by noon the place is usually pretty busy. Try Singapore Rice Noodles or the ever traditional Beef Chow Fun for an amazing treat, but something I love is that they offer mini Sticky Rice portions so I don’t feel committed to excessive carb intake. They have a picture menu for those new to dim sum or more ethnic Chinese food which is helpful. The only down side I find in this restaurant is the service; the staff really shines when you bring Asian friends with you, but be prepared for poor service if you can’t find one around
Dishes Tried:
Beef Chow Fun
Tons of onions, but lots of beef too! I love the challenge of chasing these slippery noodles with chop sticks
