Best place on earth
This was one of our best experiances ever. we went to the little place that me found after some christmas shopping. it is tucked away back behind some building so it is a little hard to find but is worth it. once you get there you are normally greeted by Barnet “the wine guy” and his son Kyle. they are fantastic Barnet know more about wine then i have every thought we had some wine, some great cheese, and have made some good friends. the second time we went Barnet all ready had our pallets memorized and picked out the fantastic wine called PEJU we loved it so much we took 6 bottles home. this place is fantastic family owned and run since it opened a little over a year ago, but if you enjoy wine and are not affriad of it this is the place for you. you will not know most of the labels since it is all small vinyard stuff but TRUST me you will not be dissapointed.
Dishes Tried:
Diamond Mountain Salad
it was spring greens with carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatos, almonds, dried cranberries, blue cheese, and i got the raspberry vingertte it was fantastic
Super Tuscan
it comes with cappicola, peperoni, genoa, provolone cheese, lettuce mediterranean tomaos and herbs, on a toaseted rustic ciabatta, with a side of pepperoncinis and a gralic balsalmic vinagrette another big portion was so filling and good
Mojo Pies
these are little pot pies that came from Austrlia. SO GOOD they are filled with there own juices and just melt in your mouth.
6 cheese plate
we had van gogh, aged blue stilton, this drunken goat cheese, red dragon – which has ale and mustered seed in it, huntsman – my personal favorite, st. andre “triple Creaam” brie . it was served with bread marinated mushrooms and kalamata olives
wines by the glass
all there wine by the glass at 5-10 with a few speical one being 15 and trust the 15 are worth it but all s fantastic and at 3-6 they have a secert happy hour that is 50% all 5-10 dollar glasses so that actually makes them 2.5- 5 can’t beat that.
Pyramid of Chocolate Heavan
OH MY GOD this will make you die and go to heaven it is a thing that has a haslenut cream center soruned by chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganash then is coved with chocolate to give it a hard outside, then they even spray more chocolate sryp on top is fantastic.
