I am on a "C FOOD DIET! (I SEE FOOD & EAT IT)

I love to share my dining experience with others. It is a great way to support establishments I liked and occasionally warn people of those to avoid.

BUBBIE IS ALIVE AND WELL AGAIN

Jay Gross, chef, entrepreneur and professional magician, has launched this wonderful business to honor his late mother. Her recipes have inspired this amazing line of ever expanding homemade foods. I assure you, she would be proud. For my generation and those before, these incredible treats bring back memories of meals served by beloved relatives, now long gone. For the new generation, it is opportunity to taste this amazing food, experience it, share it and make your own memories. Anybody can enjoy this spectacular food.

Mr Gross has a location in Philadelphia where he offers limited hours. While not a dine-in restaurant, per se, it merits a visit. J’s products are found all over the city and he is currently considering expanding to South Jersey. You must contact this wonderful man and take a trip into yesteryear by purchasing his offerings. Enjoy.

Kasha Knishe

I might be off on the price. Whatever it is, it is money very well spent. This blimp sized knishe is so large, it should have a license plate on it. A knishe for those who don’t know is supposed to be a thin-skinned dumpling stuffed with a filling such as potato, rice, liver or kasha (roasted sauteed buckwheat with onions), served piping hot. This is what a kasha knishe is supposed to look and taste like. In a word, it is ecstacy.
